I'm healing perfectly from my c-section, but my OB put me on anti-depressants for postpartum depression. He also "prescribed" that I take a walk every day, so I've been walking 1 mile every afternoon. This works out well because I WANT to lose about 100 pounds (I'm at 217 right now). I also WANT a room in my house that could be used for a personal gym, along with a treadmill and other exercise equipment to go in it.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. If the name of the holiday wasn't enough to tell you, its the perfect time for giving thanks. With my new baby home, healthy and happy with us I want to give thanks for the precious little bundle I have. I want to give thanks for my mother in law living across the street and willing to help whenever I need her. I want to give thanks for my (fairly) quick recovery from my c-section as it doesn't hurt as badly as I thought it would to care for my baby.

It is day 6 of a LONG week for me. Work has been crazy. I've been tired and sore. Pregnancy+working retail is not a good combination! I WANT a job that will let me sit while I work. At least until after the baby is born. I also WANT to know what the ob/gyn is looking for in my pee that I have to give them every visit. Halloween is right around the corner! I WANT to be able to dress up at work like we used to, but thats not allowed anymore. I also WANT Halloween to be more like it was when I was a child, and people didn't have to be afraid for their children to go trick-or-treating.

It was 53 degrees when I woke up this morning, and I loved the chill in the air. This morning I had a doctors appointment. I got there early, was called to the back immediately, then had to sit in the exam room forever, waiting on the doctor to come poke my tummy. I WANT to know why I have to keep going so often and all I ever do is pee in a cup and go go in so my doctor can poke my tummy and measure it with the tape measure he keeps in his pocket.

I just got back from what has to be the quickest doctors visit ever. I went in there prepared to wait for a while, and they called be back even before my appointment time.
