Happy Wednesday! We just went shopping for winter clothes for my son. I think I WANT him to stop growing, its all going by so quickly.
This weeks question is:
What part of your life do you want to slow down?
What else do you want this week? Share it all.

When my children were small, then this would have been an easy thing for me to respond to. I would have wanted those moments to slow down, but now that they are grown or nearly grown, then I'd have to say just life in general. The days slip into years almost like a blink of an eye. Just look, here it is October...almost mid-October at that. Before we know it, the holidays will zing in on us and then will be gone. Oh sigh, is this the magic of growing older or what? If so, then I want no part of it. =D
My biggie for this week is to get the last of book rewrites finished and approved, my book cover synopsis completed, my bio written for my publisher, and a photo taken for my webpage all done before the week ends. Plus, I'm looking forward to spending some quality one-on-one time with my husband.

I just came across your blog and I love it. I want everything in my life to slow down a little. I'm like you though, I want my little girl to stop growing so quickly because I'm always shopping for her. I'm a new follower.

I wanted to make the submissions deadline for an independent film series, so that I could get my documentary shown in NYC. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

My mom would always tell me that when I was younger "I wish you kids don't grow up" And now that I'm grown up, I'm able to take her places, treat her our to dinner, pay the kindness and love forward in a way that only me as a grown up can do. So if you'd ask me, I'd say nothing, life is going the way it should as everything happens for a reason. =) We all grow up or old eventually anyways.
Much love,
MC
